The Rota Stand has been developed to allow an assisted transfer from one seated position to another (eg chair to wheelchair, wheelchair to bed). The patient places their feet on to the base plate and pull themselves upwards. The carer provides counterbalance support and turns the Rota Stand when the patient is sufficiently lifted.
