Whilst we always try and arrange the best day for your delivery, there are times that nobody is home to accept the delivery. If you have arranged with us to have your parcel delivered to a secure location of your choice or a neighbour we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss which may occur while in this location.

Likewise, if you receive your parcel and it has been damaged in transit please let us know as soon as possible by calling our Customer Services department on 01444 253300. You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery of any damage so that we can contact the courier company and have the item collected and replaced for you free of charge.

Recycled Packaging

There are occasions that we reuse and recycle old packaging materials from other products for your order. We do this for two reasons:
  • 1. To reduce our wastage at our warehouse by recycling boxes and packaging
  • 2. To help keep the costs of our products and shipping down while still offering you the best experience possible
Always open your delivery to make sure the items inside are yours, we don't mind.


We have invested a lot of time and effort into making sure our products are available for you to order and have delivered when you want them. If however we are 'out of Stock' of a certain product our website will not allow you to process an Express Order for it. However should you purchase an item with Express Delivery and we are out of stock of this item we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be able to cancel your order at this point with a full refund or we will simple refund the additional amount you paid for Express Delivery and send you the item as soon as we have it back in stock.


We deliver Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm. At the time of placing your order we will endeavour to give you an idea of when you can expect your delivery. If you have supplied us with a mobile number or email address DPD will send you a message on the morning of your delivery to give you a 1 hour time slot during which you can expect to receive you parcel.

Please note we do not deliver on Saturday or Sunday

If there are any special requirements for your delivery (i.e leave with a neighbour) please let us know when you place your order.

Our Couriers

Our Couriers

Orders placed through this website will be delivered to you by DPD or Royal Mail (smaller, lightweight items only) except for those which come under our Restricted Delivery items which are delivered by our own delivery vehicles.

All deliveries (courier and home delivery) will be made on weekdays between 8am and 5.30pm.

If you or the intended recipient is out when the delivery is made, a card will be left enabling you to contact your local depot and arrange redelivery at a convenient time.

If the couriers do not hear from you they will make 2 further attempts to deliver before returning the package to us.

All deliveries made using our own delivery vehicles will be arrange with your prior to our arrival.

We will never arrive without arranging with you before hand. Once your order has been placed and is ready for delivery one of our team will call you to arrange a date and time suitable for you to make your delivery.

Please be aware that we can only offer certain delivery dates for our Restricted Delivery items due to our large coverage area but we will do our best offer you the best time for you.

Please also note that we have no control over external couriers delivery dates/times.

About DPD

DPD are one of the UK's leading parcel delivery services. A recent Which? report also rated DPD as the best delivery company for customer satisfaction with an 83% approval rating. When placing your order, if you supply a mobile phone number or email address DPD will even contact you the morning of our delivery to advise you of a 1 hour delivery slot when they will attempt the delivery. We advise DPD to allow our customers time to answer the door when making their delivery so don't worry about being rushed.

You can track your parcel online as well using your parcel/consignment number which is sent to you along with your order confirmation.

Service Options

Service Options

The availability of each product is indicated on the detailed product page. This provides a guide to how long it will take for that item to be despatched from our warehouse. This should be added to the delivery service chosen (see above table) to give a guide of when you should expect to take delivery of your order.

For example, if the product page states that the item is normally despatched within 24 hours and you choose the Standard Delivery service, you should expect to receive delivery of your items within 2-4 working days of placing your order. In order to take advantage of our Express overnight delivery service, we must receive your order before 3pm the day prior.

Please note we do not offer a Saturday delivery service so if your express order is received on a Friday it will be despatched for delivery on the following Monday. If payment is made by cheque then your order will be held for 10 working days to allow sufficient time for the cheque to clear.

Where your order contains items with differing availabilities, you should choose the Express Delivery service if you would like us to despatch products as they become available. If you select the Standard Delivery service we will despatch the order in one parcel and consequently despatch of your order will be delayed until the last item becomes available.

Due to the nature of some of our products we restrict the delivery of them to a 50 mile radius of our Burgess Hill Head Office.

This allows us to provide effective installation and after-sales support.
We apply these restrictions to the following product lines:

Standard Delivery orders placed on the Friday before a Bank Holiday will be processed on the following Tuesday and will be despatched shortly thereafter.

Express deliveries placed before 3pm on the Friday before a Bank Holiday will be processed and despatched the same day for delivery on the following Tuesday.

Express deliveries placed after 3pm on the Friday before a Bank Holiday will be processed and despatched the following Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.
