Here at Clearwell Mobility we pride ourselves on our customer service and our staff are more than dedicated to helping our customers find the product that is right for them. Be it a mobility scooter, stairlift or even just a walking stick, we are always happy to go the extra mile to make sure our customers have the best possible experience when shopping at Clearwell. Senior Management

Company Directors


Duncan Gillett, Managing Director

Duncan has overall responsibility for the smooth running of the company. He provides specialist help to clients requiring stairlifts, powerchairs and riser recliners and works closely with Occupational Therapists and NHS Wheelchair Services.

Duncan co-founded the business in 2004 and remains a substantial shareholder.

Natasha Gillett, Finance Director

Natasha has responsibility for managing the finance and administrative functions of the business. She is also responsible for product compliance issues and health and safety across the company.

Senior Management


Sally, Senior Showroom Manager

Sally is responsible for our Worthing showroom and coordinates home assessments and Motability enquiries.

She has been promoted from Assistant Manager to Senior Manager since joining Clearwell in 2008, reflecting her dedication to her customers and passion for her job.

Kay, Operations Manager

Kay oversees the day to day running of a number of operational areas of Clearwell including aspects of Customer Support, Logistics, Purchasing and Customer Services.

Kay joined Clearwell as Engineering Coordinator and has recently been promoted to this newly created role within the company.

Product Assessors


Howard, Product Assessor
Howard undertakes home assessments for scooters, powerchairs, riser recliners, beds and mobile hoists. Howard specialises in the Motability scheme for scooters and powerchairs and has completed numerous training courses since joining Clearwell in 2009 to ensure that his detailed product knowledge enables him to identify the best product to suit his customer’s requirements.
Simon, Product Assessor
Simon is one of our product assessors and covers the Thames-Valley area. He, like Howard, undertakes assessments for scooters, powerchairs, profiling beds and riser recliners as well as Motability applications. His years of experience in the mobility sector means that Simon can offer the best advice for purchasing the right product for your needs.
Hugh, Adaptations Surveyor
Hugh joined the Clearwell team in early 2017 as our Adaptations Surveyor. Hugh is responsible for surveying and producing quotes for all stairlift inquiries that come into the company. When he is not out surveying and overseeing the installation of our customers stairlifts, he is available at our head office in Burgess Hill to discuss and advise on all your stairlift needs.

Showroom Managers

Julie, Brighton Manager
Julie has been with Clearwell since 2010 and in that time has gone from Sales Assistant to Assistant Manager and now Manager of the Brighton showroom. Julie and her team are constantly striving to provide excellent customer service at our original showroom in Woodingdean. The Woodingdean showroom can be found opposite Sussex Nuffield hospital.
Paula, Burgess Hill Manager
Paula joined Clearwell in early 2018 and has quickly developed her knowledge in key product areas and has the added benefit of being located next to our warehouse and as such has an extensive stock range at hand. She also has our in-house engineer on hand to assist with any technical issues. Our Burgess Hill showroom can be found located on Albert Drive in Burgess Hill, just behind Tesco.
Diane, Chichester Manager
Diane joined us at Clearwell in 2014 as manager of our Chichester Showroom. Diane frequently hosts talks and demonstrations in and around Chichester at different events. Keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter for our latest events. Our Chichester showroom can be found in Southgate, just opposite the Law Courts.
Tanya, Crawley Manager
Tanya joined us at Clearwell in 2017 as manager of our new Crawley Showroom. Tanya and her team are on hand in Crawley 6 days a week offering support and advice to help you get the mobility aids you need to help make your life easier.
Jo, Hastings Manager
Jo joined Clearwell in 2016 at the opening of our Hastings showroom and her dedication and professionalism has seen her go from assistant manager to showroom manager. Her team are on hand on the seafront in Hastings and offer a wide range of mobility products and accessories as well as providing wheelchair hire, perfect for days at the seaside.
Eddy, Hove Manager
Eddy joined the team in Hove in 2017 as the Assistant Manager and has since been promoted to Showroom Manager. Her and her team are in hand in Boundary Road 6 days a week and stock a wide variety of mobility aids to purchase and also offer wheelchair hire.
Max, Polegate Manager
Max has been a part of the Clearwell family in Polegate for a number of years and has developed a wealth of knowledge about a wide variety of mobility products in this time. Our Polegate showroom is a short distance from the train station in the town and easily accessible from Eastbourne itself.
Debbie, Seaford Manager
Debbie joined Clearwell in 2010 and since then has gone onto become Showroom Manager of Seaford. Debbie has a wealth of knowledge of the products we stock and is always happy to go the extra mile for her customers. Our Seaford showroom is located on Old Tree Parade, just on the corner of Broad Street.
Josie, Staines Manager
Josie joined Clearwell in 2016 when we acquired the former Keep Able site. Her wealth of knowledge about products and the local area are exceptional and her dedication and willingness to go the extra mile for her customers mean you are always in safe hands at our Staines showroom.
Wendy, Tunbridge Wells Manager
Wendy joined Clearwell at the opening of Tunbridge Wells branch in 2015. She and her team have worked hard to establish the Clearwell name in our new area in Kent and are always going the extra mile for their customers. The Tunbridge Wells showroom is located just opposite Tesco Metro on Grosvenor Road.
Trish, Woking Manager
Trish joined Clearwell in early 2016 as the assistant manager of our Woking showroom and has since been promoted to showroom manager and continues to help us grow the name of Clearwell in Surrey. Trish and her team are on hand 6 days a week to assist you with all your enquiries and questions.

Head Office

Lucy, Purchasing Assistant
Lucy is based at our Head Office. Her main duties include placing orders to help keep our stock levels at a maximum and keeping track of stock discrepancies. She also places special orders to fullfil customers special orders which are placed at our network of showrooms or taken over the phone at Burgess Hill.
Susie, Human Resources
Susie joined Clearwell in early 2018 and is in charge of our Human Resources department. Susie's main task revolve around recruiting here at Clearwell as well as dealing with general staffing responsibilities such as holidays and staff rotas.
Pauline, Accounts
Pauline joined us in 2015 as Purchasing Assistant and is now in charge of our Accounts department, tasked with all of the day-to-day financial processes of the company.
Andrew, Marketing Manager
Andrew has responsibility of designing and producing all printed literature for the company as well as keeping the website up-to-date. He is also tasked with organising special events around the company as well as liaising with local and national press.
Morgan, Marketing Assistant
Morgan joined Clearwell in 2018 and joins Andrew with the tasks of designing and producing all marketing materials both printed and digital.

Engineering Team

Paul, Engineering Manager
Paul is in charge of the Engineering Team and is based at our Head Office. He is tasked with arranging and organising our engineers diaries and liaising with suppliers regularly to help assist customers with any difficulties they may be experiencing with their products.
Ruby, Engineering Administrator
Ruby is based at our Head Office and is charge of all engineering related administration. Her main roles include ordering and procuring of parts for engineering jobs as well as Motability insurance claims.
Lance, Field Engineer
Lance is one of our Field Engineers who are on the road 5 days a week visiting customers and helping solve any issues they may be having with their mobility scooters, riser recliners, stairlifts and other larger motorised products.
Justin, Field Engineer
Justin is out visiting customers across the East Sussex area 5 days a week. Our engineers are on hand to provide assistance with any problems they may be experiencing with their scooters, riser recliners and stairlifts.
Paul, Field Engineer
Paul is out on the road 5 days a week visiting customer sat their homes to help with any problems they may be experiencing with their scooters, riser recliners and stairlifts.

Delivery Team

Caitlin, Logistics Coordinator
Caitlin is our Logistics Coordinator and has the responsibility of organising our delivery drivers daily itinerary. This includes all stock deliveries to our network of showrooms as well as arranging the delivery of larger products such as mobility scooters and riser recliners to our customers homes across Sussex, Kent and Surrey.
Roy, Delivery Driver
Roy has been a member of the Clearwell team since 2007. He started off as the warehouse manager/delivery driver, but since 2008 has been exclusively our delivery driver. Roy is tasked with delivering stock to our network of shops across the South East as well as delivering larger items to our customers homes.
Robert, Delivery Driver
Robert joined Clearwell in early 2018 and is our second delivery driver, on the road 5 days a week. Along with Roy, Robert delivers our larger items to customers homes as well as keeping our showrooms full of stock on a daily basis. Robert's dedication and brilliant customer service skills make him a valuable asset to both Clearwell and our customers.
Malcom, Warehouse Manager
Malcom and his team are in charge of the day to day running of the warehouse. They are tasked with keeping the flow of goods in and out of our warehouse moving smoothly and accurately as well as making sure all web and phone orders processed and dispatched to the highest possible standard.
Ben, Warehouse Supervisor
Ben joined our team in 2017 as our new Warehouse Supervisor. Ben is on hand every day to assist Malcom and the rest of his team with every aspect of goods inwards and dispatch in our Burgess Hill Distribution Centre.
