Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells - The Golden Hour

Clearwell Mobility is pleased to announce that they have renewed their sponsorship of the popular Golden Hour radio show on Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells for a second year.
The sponsorship renewal of this key show helps the team at HRTW carry on offering the important service they provide for the patients at Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury and Tonbridge Cottage Hospital.
Duncan Gillett commented after the renewal; “Hospital radio plays an important role in boosting patient’s morale when staying in hospital. We are pleased to have the opportunity to support the Golden Hour in particular as we know it is very popular amongst our elderly customer base.”
Mark Burgess who presents the Golden Hour radio show on Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells said; “I’m delighted that Clearwell Mobility has shown their support to our team by renewing their sponsorship of our Golden Hour, we know it’s a show that brings back many great memories for our listeners”.
The Golden Hour is broadcast every morning at 7am and weekday lunchtimes at 1pm. The show features 60 minutes of songs from a different decade in each programme. It can be heard by the patients in the Tunbridge Wells Hospital and in Tonbridge Cottage Hospital. It can also be heard online via the charity’s website at hrtw.org.uk or via the Tune In app on mobile phones.
Tunbridge Wells Hospital Radio is run entirely by volunteers from all walks of life. Based on Grosvenor Road in the centre of Tunbridge Wells their studios are opposite Clearwell Mobility’s showroom. Starting back in 1961, Hospital Radio Tunbridge Wells is a registered charity and run entirely on donations and sponsorship.
