Alber E-Fix Power Wheels

The Alber E-Fix Power Wheels are a simple and easy to install add-on for your manual wheelchair which converts it to a powered wheelchair, ideal for covering longer distances quickly and easily.

Simply replace your existing rear wheels with the e-Fix wheels and install the battery pack and control unit, and you're good to go. The universal design means that almost any self-propelled wheelchair can be converted quickly into an e-Fix wheelchair which allows you to remain in the chair which has been optimised for you.

The e-Fix doesn't remove the ability to propel yourself in your wheelchair. Simply uncouple the drive wheels with a simple movement and you can propel your wheelchair manually as before.

The easy to use controls allow you to manoeuvre yourself using the intuitive joystick controller. The speed of the chair can be varied up to 4mph with the lower the speed the more manoeuvrable the driving behaviour.

Thanks to their quiet and powerful design, the two drive wheels are suitable for use both indoors and out as well as on inclines of up to 20%.

The Alber E-Fix Power Wheels are available in two versions. A Standard version with a maximum user weight of up to 19 stone (120kg) and a Heavy Duty version which has a maximum user weight of up to 25 stone (160kg).
