Designed to be lightweight, practical and affordable the Vireo is produced from a lightweight aluminium which provides the user with the durability and stability of a steel chair while remaining under 10kg in weight without footplates.

The lightweight frame means that this wheelchair is easily transportable in a car and can be easily handled when not in use making it perfect for storing in your home. Perfect for occasional users or those who require assistance for short distances the Vireo comes with a wide range of features that help make the Vireo our most popular transit wheelchair.

Along with the comfortable grip handlebars the Vireo features attendant controlled parking/slowing brakes which are ideal for use on slopes and gradients. The Vireo features puncture-proof tyres reducing the concern about flat tyres when traversing certain terrains. As standard the Vireo features swing-away footplates which are fully removable and allow for reduced spatial requirements for transportation and storage. With safety in mind the Vireo also comes with a seat belt as standard which is easily clipped together when out and about.
