At Clearwell we know that how quickly you receive your order is important and that is why we have put a lot of time and effort into providing the best possible delivery services for you.
We offer a range of delivery options to provide you with quick and convenient methods to receive your orders. We offer delivery across the UK for all of our smaller items and a free Engineered Delivery service for our larger items across the South East.
Below you can find out a bit more information about the delivery options available to you and your order.
Mainland UK Delivery Options
We offer a choice of delivery options to suit your needs and schedule.
- FREE for all orders over £60
- £5.95 for orders under £60
- Delivery within 3-5 working days
- Orders delivered by DPD or Royal Mail
- £2 for orders over £60 (£7.95 for orders under £60)
- Next working day delivery available if placed before 3pm, Monday - Friday and in stock
- Orders placed after 3pm Monday - Friday or at the weekend will be processed and dispatched the following working day for next working day delivery
Missed Deliveries and Damages
Whilst we always try and arrange the best day for your delivery, there are times that nobody is home to accept the delivery. If you have arranged with us to have your parcel delivered to a secure location of your choice or a neighbour we cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss which may occur while in this location.
Likewise, if you receive your parcel and it has been damaged in transit please let us know as soon as possible by calling our Customer Services department on 01444 253300. You must notify us within 24 hours of delivery of any damage so that we can contact the courier company and have the item collected and replaced for you free of charge.
There are occasions that we reuse and recycle old packaging materials from other products for your order. We do this for two reasons:
1. To reduce our wastage at our warehouse by recycling boxes and packaging
2. To help keep the costs of our products and shipping down while still offering you the best experience possible
Always open your delivery to make sure the items inside are yours.
We have invested a lot of time and effort into making sure our products are available for you to order and have delivered when you want them. If however we are 'Out of Stock' of a certain product our website will not allow you to process an Express Order for it. However should you purchase an item with Express Delivery and we are out of stock of this item we will notify you as soon as possible. You will be able to cancel your order at this point with a full refund or we will simply refund the additional amount you paid for Express Delivery and send you the item as soon as we have it back in stock.
All of our deliveries take place between Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 6pm. At the time of placing your order we will endeavour to give you an idea of when you can expect your delivery. If you have supplied us with a mobile number or email address DPD will send you a message on the morning of your delivery to give you a 1 hour time slot during which you can expect to receive your parcel.
If there are any special requirements for your delivery (i.e leave with a neighbour) please let us know when you place your order.
Non-mainland UK Delivery Options
Due to the delivery process for non-mainland UK addresses we are unable to offer Express Delivery to these locations. We endeavour to have your orders with you within our standard 3-5 working days but due to the delivery processes please allow up to 7 working days for delivery to non-mainland UK addresses.

Orders placed through this website will be delivered to you by DPD or Royal Mail (smaller, lightweight items only) except for those which come under our Restricted Delivery items which are delivered by our own delivery vehicles.
All deliveries (courier and home delivery) will be made on weekdays between 8:30am and 6:00pm. If you or the intended recipient is out when the delivery is made, a card will be left enabling you to contact your local depot and arrange redelivery at a convenient time. If the couriers do not hear from you they will make 2 further attempts to deliver before returning the package to us.
When placing an order with us we will ask you for either an email address or mobile telephone number. Using either of these methods we will provide you with a a tracking number and a one hour delivery window so you or your loved one won't have to wait in all day.
You can use this tracking number to watch the entire progress of your delivery on a real-time map, right down to the final 15 minute time slot.
Once we despatch your order you even have the ability to modify your delivery to suit you. If you wish to modify your delivery you can:
- Select an alternative delivery date
- Have your order delivered to a neighbour
- Have the parcel left in a specified safe place
- Collect the parcel from your local DPD Pickup Shop
- Upgrade delivery to before 10:30, before 12, afternoon or a Saturday or Sunday (additional costs may apply)
In House Delivery
All deliveries made using our own delivery vehicles will be arranged with you prior to our arrival. We will never arrive without arranging with you before hand. Once your order has been placed and is ready for delivery, one of our team will call you to arrange a date and time suitable for you to make your delivery.
Please be aware that we can only offer certain delivery dates for our Restricted Delivery items due to our large coverage area. Please also note that we have no control over external couriers delivery dates/times.
Due to the nature of some of our products, we restrict the delivery of them to a 50 mile radius of our Burgess Hill Head Office.
This allows us to provide effective installation and after-sales support.
We apply these restrictions to the following product lines:

Please note that this is intended as a guide only and that we reserve the right to change the boundary of this restriction. If you are concerned that your location may not fall within our boundary give us a call and one of our team will be happy to help.
Click & Collect
We offer a FREE Click & Collect service on a wide range of our products with collection within 2 hours for those products in stock. If a product is not in stock at your chosen location, you will be able to collect your order within 7 working days.
Placing an Order for Click & Collect
Once you have added your desired items to your basket proceed to the checkout as normal. At this point you will be asked whether your order is for Delivery or Click & collect. Once you select Click & Collect you will be able to search for your local showroom by inputting your postcode or town.
Your nearest showroom will appear at the top of the list with the earliest collection date available for your products. Push the Select button under your desired collection store and then press the Next button to proceed to payment details.
Notification of Your Order Being Ready for Collection
After placing your order you will receive an email notifying you that the store has received your order and it is being picked.
Once your order is ready for collection you will receive a second email to inform you that your order is ready.
Collecting My Order
Once you have been notified that your order is ready for collection you simply need to visit your chosen showroom. You will be asked to confirm your order number and surname associated with the order when collecting.
Our distribution centre is closed on weekends and Bank Holidays. This can have an effect on delivery times during public and Bank Holiday weekends.
Orders placed for Standard Delivery on the Friday (or Thursday in case of Good Friday) before a Bank Holiday will be processed on the following Tuesday and will be despatched shortly thereafter.
Orders placed for Express Delivery before 3pm on the Friday before a Bank Holiday (or Thursday in case of Good Friday) will be processed and despatched the same day for delivery on the following Tuesday.
Orders placed for Express Delivery after 3pm on the Friday before a Bank Holiday (or Thursday in case of Good Friday) will be processed and despatched the following Tuesday for delivery on Wednesday.
