The Ashurst has been specifically designed to see the needs of those with neurological and postural conditions. The large castors make the Ashurst suitable to move around the home or even out in to the garden. There is also sufficient height for mobile hoist access.
The seat can be tilted back, the backrest reclined and the leg rest adjusted all independently of each other. The adjustments are all hydraulic which adds the benefit that the chair can be positioned away from a power supply with ease. All adjustments are carried out by the carer.
The Ashurst can be specified with a range of seat cushions and different style backrests as well as a thoracic support to help the user sit upright.
