Malford - The new portable powerchair from Clearwell

The new Malford powerchair has arrived at Clearwell. The latest addition to our portable powerchair family, the Malford is designed with two main features in mind. To provide you with an easy to manage and extremely portable powerchair and to give you, the user, independence and mobility in and around your home.

Designed for us indoors and out, the Malford can be dismantled into 4 easy to manage pieces making it perfect for loading into the boot of your car or storing in places where space is at a premium. The chair separates with ease and the easy to detach battery box removes any worries about dealing with wires or plugs when dismantling. This ability to remove the battery box from the chair itself allow for off-board charging meaning no need to run extension leads to your storage area or shelter.

Available in a choice of 4 colour options and with a maximum user weight of up to 18 stone, the Malford is ideal for almost any user. The easy to use controls are quick to learn and the simple joystick is so intuitive you will be wondering how you ever managed without your new companion.

Comfort is important when it comes to using a powerchair and the Malford design has taken this into account with its soft, padded seat. Easily height adjustable, the comfortable seat swivels with ease to allow for safe transfers on and off the chair and also allows for easy access to tables or desks. Not only this but the adjustable 1 piece flip up footboard provides a comfortable and sturdy support for your feet when in use.

The puncture proof tyres make the Malford ideal for use indoors and out and their non-marking material mean you need not worry about damaging highly polished flooring.

No matter when or where you plan on using your new Malford power chair you can rest assured that the Malford is going to get you there and back again.
