Invacare Birdie Compact Hoist

The Birdie Compact Hoist is the ideal, space saving hoisting solution for temporary use, shared properties or those where space is at a premium. The unique design allows the Birdie to be easily folded when not in use making storage easy and ideal for infrequent use.

Easy to use, the Birdie Compact features snap lock brakes for stable lifting and rotating as well as a clip on spreader bar, making it easier to change from a 2 point to a 4 point spread as needed. For added user comfort, the Birdie features and extra long boom which allows for lifting and rotating of the client with reduced risk to the knees.

For easy lowering, the Birdie Compact features a simple to use control panel which features an emergency lowering feature.

With a maximum weight limit of up to 23 stone, the Birdie Compact is suitable for a wide range of clients and situations. Its compact design allows for use in the tightest of bedrooms. The legs themselves sit at a 24" width when closed and open up to 34" to provide maximum stability.

The Birdie Compact weighs on 80lbs (36kg), making it easily manageable by almost any carer.
